Salvation
Yeshua said in John 14:6 of the Holy Bible, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me." He narrowed salvation down to only one path that leads to God.
In John 10:9, Yeshua said, "I am the Door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."
Yeshua said in John 6:37, "… him (or her) that comes to me I will in no wise cast out."
In John 3:16–18, Yeshua said, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
In the Book of Acts 4:10–12, after Yeshua was crucified and then rose from the dead, His followers went about spreading the good news of salvation that Jesus offers through believing in Him, and they performed miracles in His Name. People were amazed when a man who was born crippled was healed, and this is what the chief apostle, Simon Peter said to them, "Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: "for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
You may have disregarded the Anointed Lord Yeshua, a.k.a. Jesus Christ, until now, but all along He has loved you, and He has been calling you to come to Him and be saved so that, not only will you not go to Hell where you would suffer just punishment for your sins, He can give you a life that has true dignity and an everlasting place in Heaven with Him after you die.
Yeshua said, in John 10:10 that He has come that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly. If we cooperate with Yeshua, He promises to enhance our life on Earth beyond anything that we could achieve by ourselves. That doesn't necessarily mean that we will be what the world calls a success, but it does mean that we will have a lot more self–respect doing what God gives us the wisdom and boldness to do, than if we were left to cope with life without Him.
We don't have to get ourselves fixed up so that we can come to Him. In fact, we aren't able to fix ourselves good enough to be presentable to God, but God doesn't expect us to. He will take us just as we are, and then Yeshua will do the fixing. In the Book of Romans 5:8 & 9, the Bible says, "But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."
The Bible says in Acts 2:21 "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." If we call on God out of a sincere heart, truly sorry for our sins and willing to forsake them, salvation is as simple as calling on the Name of Yeshua (or Jesus) to save our soul.
The Name "Yeshua" means "God saved." Calling upon that Name for salvation means that we recognize that Yeshua of Nazareth, of the lineage of King David of Israel, is God come to us in the flesh, and we are asking Him to save our soul. We realize that He paid the penalty for our sins on the cross and, by the same power that raised Him from the dead, He sets us free from the power of sin.
Some people call upon the Creator to save their soul, without knowing anything about Yeshua, but He makes sure that they find out about Him, even if He has to send an angel or deliver the message personally. I've heard testimonies from people who knew nothing about Yeshua, but after they called out to God, Yeshua appeared to them and told them that He is the Way of Salvation.
Many people have called on God to save them, but their souls were not saved because they were not asking God to save their soul. They were only asking God to save their life, or to save them from troubling circumstances, or from painful consequences of their own actions. But they continued to live their lives the way they pleased after they were delivered from their peril, though they made promises at the time that they would change their self–centred ways.
Calling upon the Creator to save our soul means that we abhor our sins and do not want to be unclean anymore. God always responds to that prayer. He receives us and and when satan comes to accuse, it does him no good because "God saved" is written upon our soul. God then says, "Oh no. It doesn't matter what you say about that one. This one is mine. Look. He/she is branded with My Name." Saved from everlasting shame. Saved for His eternal glory. He has separated us from the herd of foolish souls that are headed for Hell.
Romans 10:9 & 10, "If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
To receive salvation, sincerely pray the following prayer:
"Creator God, You are totally good and righteous, and all Your ways are just. You made everything and You are Love, so everything You made can prosper only when it operates in love. But we have all strayed away from Your goodness and love, serving Self, and I am no exception. I rebelled against Your plan for my life because I didn't want to do things Your way.
"I can't blame anyone else for my errors, even if their actions affected me negatively. If sin didn't dwell in my heart in the first place, nothing anyone else does can make me do wrong. I admit my failures, I take my blame, and I bring it all to You. I place it under the blood of Yeshua as, in my heart by faith, I kneel before the cross that He died on to take the punishment that I deserve.
"I thank You that You sent Your Son to pay the ransom for me, and that You raised Him from the dead so that, not only can I be free from the filth of my sins, but also be free to live righteously. I look to You to give me the strength to do Your will.
"I call on the Name of Yeshua, for Your Word says that whosoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved, and that You will in no wise cast out anyone who comes to You for the salvation of their soul. I commit the rest of my life to You, to glorify You, in Yeshua's Name. Amen.
"Father, thank You that You will never leave me or forsake me. Thank You that You will always be with me, even until the end of the age. Thank You, that now that I have received Yeshua/Jesus as my Saviour, I have also received authority and power over ALL the power of the devil. Please show me how to use this power and authority that You have given, and daily give me grace, that I may glorify You in all that I say and do. I pray this in Yeshua's’ Name. Amen."
Now go tell someone that you have received Yeshua as your Saviour, and keep on telling others about what He has done for your soul because Yeshua said in Matthew 10:32 & 33, "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." We want other people to also get saved and not burn in the Lake of Fire with satan and his angels.
As the apostle Paul said in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile." Be bold to tell others what Yeshua has done for you. As you wait on Him in prayer, He will give you the courage to speak, the wisdom when to speak and what to speak, and the power to demonstrate His goodness. Ask Him every day to give you grace for that day to do all that He wants you to do.
Feed your faith with daily prayer and Bible study. When you pray, just talk to God normally. You don't have to make flowery speeches or say "thee" or "thou" like in the King James Bible. Every time you open the Bible, ask God in Yeshua's Name to open your eyes and show You the wonders of His treasures. Also, ask God to lead you to a church or fellowship meetings with other believers where the Bible is taught as accurately and fully as possible.
Do not be surprised, however, when you discover that nobody in your church is perfect. We are all works in progress. 1 John 3:14 says, "We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides in death." God had that verse put into the Bible because He knows all too well that sometimes we act like jerks, and it takes His supernatural power for us to consistently forgive and love each other. When people see us continually loving each other, they will know that it has to be God! They will also know that it is a miracle when they see our character growing beyond what one would normally expect, considering what we were like before we received the Lord Yeshua into our heart.
While you are searching for a home church, and even after, as a supplement to your pastor's teaching, I highly recommend that you go to Andrew Wommack's website for good teaching. It will help you understand more about how much God loves you, and how easy it is for those who have sincerely repented of their sins and received Yeshua as their Saviour to move in His power.
A lot of Christians don't realize how much God wants to bless us in this life, not just in the next, because we have received false teaching, both from the world and the Church. I don't want anybody to go through what I went through for years, feeling like I was beating my head against a wall and getting nowhere, so dear little lambs, listen to Andrew's RADIO SERMONS. Listening to the healing testimonies on his website will encourage your faith, as well.
Remember, we must continue to put our trust in the Lord Yeshua until death, for if we stop trusting in Him and turn back to the world, we cannot expect Him to receive us into Heaven. God's blessings on you in Yeshua's Name!
