Life Lessons
There are things that I wish I had learned sooner, rather than later. They would have prevented a lot of confusion and emotional distress.
Young people often don't want to listen to advice. Some say that they want to learn from their own mistakes. They can make mistakes that are very costly and can set them back for years in achieving success in life, and also in terms of their self–respect. Wisdom is learning from other people's mistakes. That is why God did not hide from us the mistakes that His champions made, but had them recorded in the Bible.
I recommend that young people read the Bible from cover to cover many times and commit as much as they can to memory. It is a firm foundation in a confusing world, a shelter from life's storms, a road map to victory in the here and now, and in the hereafter.
In this series, I will share some vital truths that made a huge difference in my life, effectively defeating small frustrations that could have added up to a lot of stress, and giving me bouyancy in storms that tried destroy me.
